Robyn Honey |
![]() |
| Robyn is the only girl in the band. She first picked up a guitar at the age of seven and pestered her dad to teach
her how to play. It was just a part time hobby until she joined her first band My Sweet Sister whilst still at
school. Her first serious band was Cover me Bad who she joined back in 1997 where she met and later married Ralph.
She has also played in a few acoustic line ups including Rob and Ems and 4Play. Robyn plays rhythm guitar - mainly
acoustic on set one and moving on to electric for set two. The acoustic is a Takamine G series elctro-acoustic, and
the electric is an epiphone Gothic SG. Her pedals are a zoom 505 II for the electric and a zoom 504 II for the
acoustic, both of which run off an expression pedal. She sings lead on a few songs but on the whole sticks with
backing vocals. She's much happier playing twin guitar with Ralph on the Lizzy numbers, in Ralph's own words - Not
bad for a girl!!. Robyn is famous for seamless juggling of instruments between songs while wearing very impractical footwear. |
